As part of my mission to understand ways to generate funding for ecological work and research – I have begun writing for a non-profit environmentalgrants.org. Such a cool idea, environmentalgrants.org effectively functions as a search engine for users who can look for relevant funding opportunities worldwide in the environmental space.
It can help you discover the various funding opportunities available to you – as well as the steps you need to take to get it in the bag!
This article published on their site can be read here. It introduces Australia and Pacific Science Foundation, a grant that supports biological research projects conducted by biologists affiliated with Australian universities and research institutions. The Foundation was established in 2000 to support high quality research projects aimed at promoting, advancing, and studying biological sciences in all its branches. To date, over 150 projects have been funded with more than 350 research papers published.
