Lauren Pharr (pronouns: she/her) is an avian ecologist, science communicator and PhD candidate in her third year of studies at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina focused on the endangered Red Pileated Woodpecker. In the world of conservation, promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) is crucial for fostering a more inclusive and representative field.
